Well organized ICT4EE
The two days at ICT4EE – Charlemagne building in Brussels, 19th and 20th March 2009, was very well organized. This high-level event on Information and Communication Technologies for Energy Efficiency in Brussels brought together many of the interesting projects within FP7 for exhibition and had several seminars in the subject.
BeAware’s stand showcased a virtual kitchen. By putting on virtual appliances, the visitor could see how this updates information in the ambient and mobile interface. From BeAware’s viewpoint it was of great interest to discuss with the other projects to find common goals. Of particular interest is to see how the different projects differentiate. For example, BeAware focus a lot on the user perspective while AIM is more targeted on saving energy on the appliance level. Other projects focus more on the smart home automation technology. Brought together, this is all of very high value.
515 participants participated during the 2 days. Thank you to ICT4EE Organisers fo inviting BeAware to this event.
